The Loire Valley, home to great chateaus and great wines, opened its second winery that enables American tourists to buy wine directly from the tasting room and have it shipped to their homes in the USA. Today, ShipItHomeUSA announced producer de Chinon, Pierre & Bertrand Couly installed the ShipItHomeUSA software platform becoming the second winery in the Loire Valley alongside Chateau Gaudrelle in Rochecorbon. “We’ve had plenty of American tourists visit us, but they normally only buy 1 bottle. Some of the bicycle tourists couldn’t even do that. Now they all can buy a case or two when they visit” said winery owner Bertrand Couly.
